Non-surgical Vampire Breast-Lift

The Vampire Breast Lift® is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure intended to modify the shape of the cleavage area of the breast. The procedure is used to treat the gap typically seen after the use of breast implants in the cleavage area. The Procedure is safe and consists in the injection of platelet-rich plasma (PRP) extracted from your own blood back into the area of the breast cleveage with the purpose of restoring symmetry and roundness resulting in a fuller youthful look. In selected cases the Vampire Breast-lift can include the treatment of inverted nipples and the treatment of stretch marks, sun-wrinkles and scars in the breast. The procedure is particularly useful in treating patients with a rippling effect after a breast augmentation procedure. The procedure can be done in breast treated with and without implants as well as on breast treated with surgical reduction and surgical lifts. The Vampire Breast-lift does not change the size of the breast. Although the injection is not in the breast tissue itself a normal mammogram is required before being considered a candidate for the procedure.

There is no pain with the procedure which is done with the use of a numbing cream. The results are demonstrated immediately after the injection in the pre and post procedure pictures. Expect the full effect in six to eight weeks. There is no downtime with the procedure which takes about one hour. There are no reported adverse events but expect some redness and swelling in the treated area for the first 24 hours. The results last in average 18 mo. Finally, a Vampire Breast-Lift is not a substitute for a surgical breast-lift, a breast augmentation or the placement of breast implants performed by a board certified plastic surgeon. The Vampire Breast-lift is an excellent procedure to enhance the appearance of a well done cosmetic or reconstructive breast procedure. Only members of the Vampire Breast-lift Provider Group are licensed to perform the procedure.

The Vampire Face-Lift is a detailed cosmetic procedure used to treat the lines, folds and facial wrinkles that produce a collapsed facial complexion. Over time skin and subcutaneous tissue loose volume. The result is decreased firmness, decreased elasticity, and the lack of a plump fresh appearance due to thinning of the skin and subcutaneous tissue (atrophy). The Vampire Face-lift addresses the lack of volume and the changes of aging through the use of a hyaluronic acid filler and PRP. The procedure is done using a sculpting process derived from facial contour modeling which leads to a natural shape. The Vampire Facelift is not a substitute for a surgical facelift performed by a board certified plastic surgeon. It offer the option of facial rejuvenation to the patients with shallow to moderately deep wrinkles without overlapping skin. The procedure addresses the loss of volume in the cheek area by the use of autologous PRP. It also addresses the loss of volume and thinning of the lips with a combination of injectables with a specific method. The use of autologous PRP serves the delivery of platelet derived growth factor, vascular endothelial growth factor, epidermal growth factor, insulin-like growth factor fibrin, fibronectin and vitronectin, all naturally produced rejuvenating factors when applied at concentrations above the baseline physiologic level. The injection of autologous PRP alone is an option in patients with shallow just perceptible wrinkles.

The procedure takes one to two hours and it begins with the application of a numbing cream. Photographic consented documentation is obtained ahead of time. You will be asked to point any areas of concern and a thorough discussion of the goals and expectations will follow. The skin of the face is then treated following our aseptic protocol. Your blood sample will be processed using a Magellan Autologous Platelet Separator system while the anesthetic is allowed to work. We use a Magellan Autologous Platelet separator system with an FDA cleared single use kit to ensure a platelet concentration at least five times over the patient’s baseline and , a benchmark for safety and efficacy. Once an adequate anesthetic level is obtained the autologous PRP injection phase of the procedure followed by the second phase using a Juvederm filler. The pattern of injection will be dictated with real time feedback from you. A detailed pattern is used and modified according to the specific areas identified bay you in consultation with Dr. Sepulveda. After a week, enjoy the glow and smoothness of a revitalized skin. Side effects are temporary swelling, redness, headache, drowsiness and sensitivity on injection sites. These side effects are temporary and minimized by the anti-inflammatory effect of the PRP. The procedure may be repeated in a timeline of one to two years.

Vampire Hair Restoration

Hair loss, thinning of the hair and decreased hair density are frequent symptoms associated to menopause. Two thirds of women report one of these symptoms, a problem that it is not loved by the use of hormone replacement therapy. The clinical manifestation of these abnormalities in the health of the forming units of hair is known as alopecia. There are different types of alopecia, androgenetic alopecia, alopecia aerata and cicatricial alopecia. The most common type of alopecia in women is androgenetic alopecia. Recent scientific evidence through meta-analysis, a well proven method to examine efficacy and safety of medical interventions has shown the success of platelet rich plasma (PRP) in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia. Activated platelets in PRP promote tissue pair and encourage hair growth with scarless healing. The addition of microneedling to direct injection has added improved efficacy in the treatment of androgenetic alopecia in women by enhancing the delivery of growth factors into the hair follicle, promoting cell survival and increasing vascularity to the hair unit.
In the case of alopecia aerata (complete hair loss in segmental areas) the treatment with PRP has proven superior to the injection of steroids. In cases of cicatricial alopecia the success of PRP is less proven with individual case reports showing success. A basic laboratory evaluation along with a clinical exam will elucidate the type of alopecia and the expected results with the use of PRP.

The procedure takes one to two hours and it begins with the application of a numbing cream. Photographic documentation is used before the beginning of the procedure. An aesthetic block is required to minimize pain and discomfort. Additional anesthetic with a small needle is commonly required before the injections are administered. Once an adequate anesthetic block is obtained the PRP is injected in a grid composed of tiny segments. At completion of the subdermal injections the scalp is then treated following our aseptic protocol with our FDA cleared microneedling device and a portion of your PRP. Common side effects are temporary swelling, redness, headache, drowsiness and scalp sensitivity. These side effects are temporary and minimized by the anti-inflammatory effect of the PRP. The procedure may be repeated in a timeline of one to three months while using our medication and hair care protocol.
